Bonds

Posting Bonds

Bonds may be posted at the Laramie Municipal Court service window during normal business hours and must be paid in cash.

When the Court is closed, bonds may be posted at the Albany County Detention Center.

Bond Refunds 

  • Refunds are issued by check only; cash refunds are not available.

  • Bonds will not be refunded until the case is fully finalized.

  • Refunds are processed on Wednesdays, and checks are mailed on Fridays.

  • If the defendant was arrested due to a Failure to Comply warrant, any posted money must be applied to the defendant’s outstanding fines.

Appearance Bond Conditions 

If you need to modify any conditions of a bond, you may:

  • Complete the Bond Modification Form and submit it in person during normal business hours, OR

  • Email your request to municourt@cityoflaramie.org. 

All requests are placed in front of the presiding judge for review.
