LARAMIE, WY – The City of Laramie has rescheduled its aerial mosquito spray for this evening, June 27, 2025, due to an aircraft malfunction on the evening of the 26th.
Originally scheduled for the evening of the 26th, the aerial application of Dibrom to control adult mosquitoes in rural areas adjacent to the city is now set to take place tonight, June 27th, beginning around 6:30 p.m., weather permitting.
This targeted mosquito control effort will help reduce populations of both nuisance and vector mosquitoes, including Culex tarsalis, a known transmitter of West Nile virus.
The application will be conducted during evening hours to align with peak mosquito activity and minimize disruption to residents.
