Laramie’s 3rd Street Beautification Project Hosts Second Public Meeting
Community Invited to Share Feedback on Preliminary Concepts
Laramie, WY, 5/22/25 — The City of Laramie invites community members to attend the second public meeting for the 3rd Street Beautification Project on Thursday, May 29, held in an open house, drop-in format from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laramie Historic Train Depot, 600 1st Street, Laramie.
Though 3rd Street is the main vein north and south through Laramie, it serves as more than a roadway — it is a vital connector of local business, culture, and community. The beautification project aims to enhance this corridor with a focus on placemaking, economic vitality, and community character.
This second meeting will unveil early concept designs influenced by community input gathered during the first meeting, which saw attendance from 47 engaged residents. Public feedback remains essential in shaping a vision that reflects Laramie’s unique identity.
“We want to ensure that the future of 3rd Street is shaped by the people who know and love it most,” said Todd Feezer, Assistant City Manager. “Your voice matters in creating a more vibrant and welcoming downtown.”
The event is open to all and will feature an informal, drop-in format, giving attendees the opportunity to view designs, ask questions, and share feedback at their convenience.
