Steve Morgan is a native of Grand Island, New York and has been involved in emergency services since 1980. He served his home town as a firefighter, EMT and paramedic on a volunteer basis as well as working for commercial ambulance services in and around Buffalo, NY. In addition to serving as Chief of the Grand Island Fire Company, he also served on the paid staff as Dispatch Supervisor until May of 2015.
Steve came to work for the Laramie Police Department in 2015 as PSAP Administrator. He oversees the Records and Communications Division of the Department. He was the first certified Emergency Number Professional (ENP) in Wyoming and serves on the NENA Institute Board, which oversees the ENP certification process.
