About the Park

Optimist Park is located between West Garfield and Spruce streets. It contains two picnic shelters (one of which has restrooms attached), a basketball court, a dog park, a playground, and a soccer field.

Rental Information

To reserve a picnic area or field, please complete a Facility Reservation Application Form. Learn more about renting a shelter or park facility. 

Park Updates

Optimist Park has a new expansion on it's west-side which features its dog park, now with several agility course items for your pet.

The playground equipment at Optimist Park is also due for replacement during the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
