Q. So why does the city no longer have a place to deposit branches for city residents to have them shred into organic mulch? About the time our trees were old enough to require pruning and would benefit from a mulch bed that all went away. I am just curious why, and where that all goes now because it seems like such a "green" way for those unwanted items to be recycled. Thank you in advance for your time.
A. Drop-off of Green Waste is free at the Laramie Landfill. All green waste dropped off is diverted from the landfill and used to produce compost. Residents also have the option to sign up for curbside Green Waste Collection with McBride’s Yard Waste Collection Service at (307) 399-2028 or www.mcbridesyardwaste.com
