Optimist Park is part of the parks system and is sprayed nightly (Sunday through Thursday) as weather permits and when adult trap numbers in the area hit their threshold to warrant treatment. Conditions in which we can spray for mosquitoes are when temperatures are above 50 degrees and wind is below 10 mph. Optimists Park was last treated Monday evening, June 11.
