Q. Would the City Recreation Center consider extending its opening times on the weekends? It would be beneficial if they opened at 7:00 on both Saturday and Sunday and allow for a pool opening at the same time. The late opening times are hindering to obtaining exercise and cut into busy weekends that are already too short.
A. Thank you for your inquiry, Recreation Center staff will take your suggestion into consideration as they review the buildings current hours of operation. Because of required daily chemical testing of the pool, this area cannot operate on the same schedule as the remainder of the building.
