Bill Nye Avenue West Corridor Study

Open House and Public Hearing Wednesday, August 22, 2018

The City and WYDOT invite you to an open house that will be held from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22nd in City Council Chambers (City Hall, 406 Ivinson Ave.) to discuss potential modifications to Boswell Drive and future Bill Nye Avenue.  A brief presentation will begin at 5:15 and the City Council will hold a public hearing on related Resolution No. 2018-19 which amends Bill Nye Avenue's alignment on the Major Street Plan. 

The present Major Street Plan shows Bill Nye Avenue connecting to 3rd Street at Sanders Drive.  The proposed amendment proposes a connection at Palmer Drive.  The Bill Nye West Corridor Study (found below) proposes a connection at Boswell Drive at a roundabout combined with the Westbound Interstate 80 ramps.
