5 Types of Alcohol Permits:

Open Container Permits ($25)

Consuming alcohol on City Property, attendees are not paying for the alcohol. If the location is a city park, contact the Parks and Recreation Department to rent the facility and obtain the permit.

Malt Beverage Permits ($50)

Consuming malt beverages only on private or public property, attendees are paying for the alcohol now or there is an expectation of financial gain the the future by providing the "free" alcohol. Can be obtained by a citizen or organization.

Alcohol Catering Permits ($50)

Consuming alcohol (beer, wine, spirits) on private or public property, attendees are paying for the alcohol now or there is an expectation of financial gain the future by providing the "free" alcohol. Can ONLY be obtained by a Retail or Resort Alcohol License Holder.

Winery Off-Site Permit ($50)

LMC 5.09.525.F. A Winery Off-site permit authorizing the permittee to sell product manufactured at the site identified on the winery license only for sales at meetings, conventions, private parties, dinners and other similar gatherings to promote their product. No permittee holding a winery off-premises permit shall sell or permit consumption of any of their manufactured product off the premises described in the permit. An off-premises permit shall be issued for one twenty-four-hour period, subject to the schedule of operating hours set pursuant to W.S. 12-5-101(d). No holder of a wine permit shall receive more than twelve off-premises wine permits in any one calendar year. An off-premises wine permit may be issued on application to the appropriate licensing authority. The fee is set by Resolution in accordance to W.S. Chapter 12.

Manufacturer Off-Site Permit ($50) (Malt Beverage Permit)

LMC 5.09.510.E.1.A manufacturer's off-premises permit (malt beverage permit) authorizing the permittee to sell product manufactured at the site identified on the manufacturer's license only for sales at meetings, conventions, private parties, dinners and other similar gatherings to promote their product. No permittee holding a manufacturer's off-premises permit shall sell or permit consumption of any of their manufactured product off the premises described in the permit. An off-premises permit shall be issued for one twenty-four-hour period, subject to the schedule of operating hours set pursuant to W.S. 12-5-101(d). Alcohol Server Training Requirement for Malt Beverage and Alcohol Catering permits (LMC 12.60.050.F.17.c.) 

If an application is made for malt beverage or catering permit for special events, the permittee or persons who will be in control of the intoxicating liquor and all persons who will be selling, serving or managing the sale of the intoxicating liquor at the special event shall complete a server training class prior to the issuance of the malt beverage or catering permit for special events,
