Leaf Collection
About Laramie's Annual Leaf Pickup Program

The City of Laramie will begin its annual leaf pickup program the second week of October. The program will continue through the third week of November. Residents may leave bagged leaves on the curb line for pickup and removal by Street Division employees. LEAVES MAY NOT BE RAKED FROM LAWNS INTO THE STREET.

As a part of the leaf pickup program, the street sweepers will be working in those areas with large amounts of leaves weekdays from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting.

  • Week of October 10: Areas between the railroad and the river and the area west of 9th Street north and south of Grand
  • Week of October 17: Areas south of Grand and east of 9th Street
  • Week of October 24: Areas north of Grand and east of 9th Street

Note: All areas will be re-swept beginning the first week of November following the same order as above.

The Street Division is asking for citizen cooperation by having cars removed from streets to allow the sweepers to have access to the curb line.
Citizens are asked to leave the odd numbered address side of the street clear on odd numbered days and the even number addressed side of the street clear on even numbered days. (For example, if your house address ends with a seven, you would not park in front of your residence on the 15, 17, 19, 21, and so forth.) The street sweepers will attempt to sweep all streets that are clear of vehicles on the given day, weather and equipment permitting.
